Lassi/ butter milk or Labaan as called in Gulf countries is perfect in the summer season to cool down. It tastes wonderful with the seasoning of cumin seeds (jeera).
Ingredients ( they vary as per the number of glasses) for one glass.
- Yogurt/ curd – four to five spoon
- Roasted cumin seeds ( roast cumin seeds on tawa or flat pan and crush them)- 1/2 teaspoon
- Dry mint leave powder ( dry the mint leaves and crush them to make the powder)- 1/2 teaspoon
- White salt as per taste
- Black salt .1/2 teaspoon
- Water
Method to prepare jeera lassi:
Put all the ingredients in a jar and mix it with the help of a blender. Pour into the glass and relieve yourself from the scorching heat
