Here is the receipe of Paneer Butter Masala.
Paneer Butter Masala Ingredients:
- Paneer – 250gm (cut it into cubes)
- Garlic – 6 to 7 cloves
- Ginger – 1 inch piece
- Onion – 4 (2 for gravy and 2 onions for rings)
- Tomato – 250gm (paste of 4 tomatoes)
- Capsicum -1 ( cut into thin shreds)
- Green chilli – 4 (separate the seeds)
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
- Roasted cumin seeds – 3/4 teaspoon
- Methi – 1 teaspoon
- Sugar – 1 pinch
- Salt – as per taste
- Oil – 4 to 5 teaspoon
- Broken cashewnut – 2 teaspoon
- Butter – 2 teaspoon
How to make Paneer Butter Masala
1. Take oil in a pan
2. Add grinded paste of onion, garlic and ginger. Cook till the paste become light brown in color ( You can also first cook them for a whistle in another cooker or in a microwave as per your choice)
4. Add milk and cook for 2 to 3 minutes
5. Put cashewnuts and cook a little
6. Now put tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
7.Add roasted cumin seeds, salt and sugar.
8. Add 1/2 glass of water and cook for 10 minutes till the gravy thickens and rise up.
9. Add methi and put off the gas and keep the gravy on side.
10. Now in another pan or kadahi put butter.
11. Add green chilli, onion rings and capsicum. Cook it for 2 minutes till they become soft.
12. Add these vegetables to the gravy.
13. Add paneer to the mixture and cook for 2 minutes.
14. Serve it with chapati or Nan.
