Receipe of Jeera Lassi/butter milk

Lassi/ butter milk or Labaan as called in Gulf countries is perfect in the summer season to cool down. It tastes wonderful with the seasoning of cumin seeds (jeera).

Ingredients ( they vary as per the number of glasses) for one glass.

  1. Yogurt/ curd – four to five spoon
  2. Roasted cumin seeds ( roast cumin seeds on tawa or flat pan and crush them)- 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Dry mint leave powder ( dry the mint leaves and crush them to make the powder)- 1/2 teaspoon
  4. White salt as per taste
  5. Black salt .1/2 teaspoon
  6. Water

Method to prepare jeera lassi:

Put all the ingredients in a jar and mix it with the help of a blender. Pour into the glass and relieve yourself from the scorching heat
